Dr. Heisler has been a psychiatrist and medical director on staff for over 20 years. She received her degree from Case Western Reserve University, Internship, Hartford Hospital; Residency, University of Connecticut Health Center; and she received the John C. Leonard Fellowship, Department of Psychiatry, Hartford Hospital
Sister Barbara Johnson is the Executive Director as well as a licensed marriage and family therapist. She has a MA degree from the University of Connecticut and a BS degree in Education from Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Sister Mary Elizabeth is the Director of the Center and a licensed marriage and family therapist. She received her MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Saint Joseph, a MS degree in Education of the Hearing Impaired, Northwestern University, and a BS degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Oregon.
Joanna Jakubowska, MD, Psychiatrist, has been on the staff since 2003. Her Doctor of Medicine degree is from Silesian School of Medicine in Poland, and she was a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University School of Medicine.
Thomas Finn, Ph.D., has been a clinical psychologist on staff since 1985. He received his Ph.D., and MA from Hofstra University and a BA from Fairfield University. He is also Director of the Franciscan Life Center LEAP Adventure Programs.
Sister Maria Sena is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She received her MS degree from the University of Bridgeport, and a BA degree from Viterbo College in Wisconsin. Sister Maria is also a professional studio potter.
Odalys Padron, M.S., is a bilingual licensed marriage and family therapist. Odalys received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Marketing. Odalys has certifications in Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and Rehearsals for Growth.
Lauren Noce, received a MA in Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Lauren originates from New York State. She chose to work at the Franciscan Life Center because she believes in its mission and philosophy.
Lakesha, a marriage and family therapist, received a MS degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and a BA degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Sociology/ Public Health.
Marilyn Carey is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She received her MA from the University of Saint Joseph and her BA in human development and human relations from the University of Connecticut
