FLC to Welcome Scientists to Talk on Climate Change and Faith

The Franciscan Life Center looks forward to hosting two evening presentations from scientists who will share their response to Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’: Care for our Common Home.

Sister Damien Marie Savino, FSE, Ph.D., Dean of Science and Sustainability, Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Philip Sakimoto, Ph.D., University of Notre Dame, Astrophysicist, and former Acting Director of NASA’s Space Science Education Public Outreach Program, will address climate change in light of science and faith and suggest practical steps to increase our personal caring for creation.
