The Franciscan Life Center has a new Executive Director. Welcome, Sister Sophia Peters, FSE, LMFT, to this new leadership position. Sister Sophia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked at the Franciscan Life Center for many years. She is a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis, and has a MS degree from Central Connecticut State University. Sister also has a Post Masters Certificate in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary.
Sister Sophia has assumed the role held by Sister Barbara Johnson, FSE, LMFT, for almost twenty years. Sister Barbara will continue to counsel clients and to support Sister Sophia in her new role as Executive Director. Sister Sophia is carrying forward the Franciscan mission, building upon the foundation begun by Mother Shaun Vergauwen, FSE, the foundress of the Center.
